I Medici di McGill ("Physicians of McGill") Orchestra was founded in 1989. Its primary roots are musical talents found amongst the staff and students of the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in Montréal and their medical and musical colleagues and friends in the Montréal area.Since the initial 14 string players the orchestra's membership grew to over 65 members, including the 31st season 2019-2020.
